one guitarist's dream come true <3
FruitFX started with one guitarist’s dream: to make pedals you’d never see sitting on store shelves. Colorful enclosures, unique circuits, and good vibes. FruitFX exists to bring more fun to your pedalboard through unexpected sounds, eye-catching designs, and effects built to inspire creativity.
Founded in 2024 by Marcos Mena of the band Standards, FruitFX had humble beginnings in a spare room, where modded pedal clones were built in small batches.
overnight success!!!
That all changed in 2025 with the release of the Melon Cube: a pulse-width modulator that sounded part synthesizer, part fuzz, and part bitcrusher. Suddenly, hundreds of orders started coming in, and FruitFX was taking off!
continuing on...
The Melon Cube was followed by the Frog Pedal, a collaboration with content creator Jordan.wav that sounded like a frog and the Space Cube, an effect that sounded like an alien spaceship preparing for liftoff.
the FruitFX story is far from over. With a DIY ethos, a love for experimentation, and plenty of creative energy driving every new idea, FruitFX is here to keep pushing the boundaries of what a guitar pedal can be.
